I made some lovely organic vanilla syrup yesterday and of course I had an alternative motive - it is divine in my daily coffee!
Vanilla Syrup
2 cups rapadura sugar
1 cup filtered water
2 Vanilla beans, split and seeds scraped, pods roughly choppes
Put all ingredients into a pot and simmer gently until sugar is dissolved and it is lovely and syrupy.
